GENERAL RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION TERMS AND ORGANIZATION RULES OF LOFT HOTEL RAUMA OY (hereinafter "hotel" or "Loft Hotel Rauma Oy")

 

These conditions apply to accommodation reservations made by individuals, unless a special agreement has been drawn up. These conditions do not apply to reservations made by individuals for groups of more than 5 rooms. More about the conditions for group bookings in section 12. These conditions also apply to accommodation reservations made via the internet, which are made via the hotel's website.

 

1. RESERVATION AND CONFIRMATION When making a reservation, you must state your name, residential address, email address, phone number, arrival and departure time, and payment method. Please note that during online check-in, our external service provider requires the ID number and expiration date. The reservation is binding on the hotel when it has been confirmed orally, in writing or e.g. by e-mail and when you have received a confirmation number. The hotel can set various rules as a condition for the reservation, payment of the reservation fee or confirmation of the reservation with a credit card as a condition for the reservation to be binding.

 

2. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TO THE HOTEL The room is available to you at 15:00 on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 12:00 on the day of departure. The hotel may have different check-in and check-out times. For security reasons, only staff and people who have checked in to the hotel are allowed into hotel rooms and other reserved spaces. The maximum number of people per room and facility may not be exceeded. If you arrive at the hotel according to its arrival times, but the reserved room is not available, the hotel must get the closest possible room of a similar standard without additional costs.

 

3. RESERVATION GUARANTEE All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card upon confirmation*. When confirming the reservation, the credit card information must be provided as a guarantee via the secure guarantee link sent to the e-mail, or a corporate guarantee from a company authorized to bill. We do not receive credit card information over the phone or directly by email. Invoicing customers can alternatively guarantee the reservation in the name of the company. As an alternative to a credit card or company guarantee, the hotel has the right, if necessary, to demand either a partial or full advance payment to guarantee the reservation. Advance payment and its payment schedule are always agreed upon with the customer in advance in writing.

*Loft Hotel Rauma Oy has the right to verify the credit card for the agreed amount if necessary.

 

4. CANCELLATION AND LEAVING WITHOUT ARRIVAL If nothing else has been agreed at the time of booking or there are no other conditions associated with the price you have chosen or the time of booking, the cancellation must be made no later than 24 hours before the date of arrival. If you fail to arrive, the hotel has the right to charge you the price of one day including taxes as well as other possible additional services related to the reservation.

 

5. DEPARTURE BEFORE THE AGREED TIME If you leave the hotel before the agreed departure date, you must notify the hotel of your departure no later than 4:00 p.m. the day before. If it is a question of accommodation for several nights, you must pay the agreed price for the unused time. Departure before the agreed time may also cause a change in the total price of the accommodation.

 

6. PAYMENTAll hotels accept the most common payment cards and cash in euros. However, the hotel is not obliged to accept foreign currency, coupons, checks or payment cards that the hotel has not informed in advance that it will accept. If the room has not been paid for in advance, the hotel room must be paid for in cash or by credit card on site at the hotel.

 

Upon check-in, the hotel will charge your credit card for the entire value of the accommodation, plus a cover charge for using additional services (such as minibar, restaurant, massage). The amount of the cover reservation for additional services is €50-150 per night.

In addition, the hotel reserves the right to charge the credit card used by the customer at the time of booking for purchases and/or broken items not reported by the customer.

 

7. PRESENTATION OF THE CUSTOMER IN THE ACCOMMODATION STORE In the hotel, we follow good manners and rules of order. If you break these rules, you may be immediately removed from the hotel. However, you must pay the price of your accommodation and the additional services you have ordered, and you cannot claim a refund of the payment already made.

For security reasons, only people who have checked in to the hotel are allowed into the hotel rooms and other reserved spaces. The maximum number of people per room and facility may not be exceeded. Silence is in our hotel from 22:00 to 07:00, during which we strive for silence and enable peace for other hotel guests as well.

 

8. RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE CUSTOMER'S PROPERTY The hotel can store your valuables at your request. The hotel has the right to charge a fee for the storage of goods. If the property to be left for safekeeping is exceptionally valuable, you must inform the hotel about it before storing it leaving. The hotel may refuse to take custody of such property.

 

You are responsible for your own luggage, unless the hotel has taken it for storage. If the hotel is not responsible for the luggage taken for storage, the hotel must separately inform about it.

 

The hotel is not responsible for damage or loss of the vehicle in the hotel parking area or the property inside it. The hotel must clearly state in its parking area that it is not a controlled area and that the hotel is not responsible for the customer's property there.

 

9. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGE As a customer, you are responsible for damages you or your guests or your pets cause to the room or other premises of the hotel, to the furniture or equipment there, as well as to other customers of the hotel or their property, caused by your will or negligence (such as smoking in the room). Liability for damage is determined according to the general principles of compensation for damage.

 

10. ACCOMMODATION OF A MINOR A room reservation can only be made by a person over 18 years of age. The person booking a room for a minor is responsible for the minor, regardless of whether he stays with him or not. A minor staying alone must have a free-form permission slip signed by the guardian, which states the minor's name and date of birth, as well as the date of stay. The guardian's name and phone number are also required. Children under the age of 4 can get a travel bed in Small Twin, Small Double, Medium and Sauna Suite category rooms free of charge. The hotel does not have separate extra beds available, upon request.

 

11. PETS Pets are welcome in some of our rooms. We charge €35 per night for pets. The price includes a maximum of two pets.

Since we have a limited number of pet rooms, please inform us about accommodating pets in advance when booking in the additional information.

The registered lodger is responsible for the well-being of his pet as well as any damage and expenses it may cause. Pets must not cause disturbance to other hotel guests.

 

12. SMOKING Smoking is prohibited in all hotel interiors. Smoking in designated areas outside the hotel. If the accommodated person smokes indoors, the accommodated person is responsible for damages and expenses caused by smoking, such as an unnecessary alarm to the emergency services.

 

13. LOFT HOTEL RAUMA'S RIGHT TO CANCEL THE RESERVATION

 

If there is a force majeure or an obstacle independent of Loft Hotel Rauma (e.g. fire or water damage, regulations of the authority), Loft Hotel Rauma can cancel the reservation. In this case, the customer has the right to get the payment back in full.

 

14. TERMS OF GROUPS

Reservations where 6-18 rooms are confirmed by paying a 30% advance payment and the final amount must be paid 14 days before arrival. Room assignment must be submitted or done online no later than 14 days before arrival. The reservation fee will be withheld in full if the cancellation occurs less than 14 days before arrival.

 

Reservations with more than 18 rooms are confirmed by paying a 30% advance payment and the final amount must be paid 28 days before arrival. Room assignment must be submitted or done online no later than 28 days before arrival. The reservation fee will be withheld in full if the cancellation occurs less than 28 days before arrival.
